Overview
Clear air-drying polyurethane / alkyd resin based formula designed to provide a tough wear-resistant finish on all internal timber surfaces in a single can. It gives a satin covering with resistance to water, wear and tear.
- Can be used for parquet, paneling and doors furniture.
- Suitable for interior particleboard cork tiles and etc.
Application
Ensure clean wood surface with turpentine to remove grease etc. Fill nail holes or defects with PYE WOOD FILLA. Sand to a smooth finish. Remove dust.
Stir thoroughly before application. PYE WOOD VARNISH is a ready-to-use product. If however, thinning is required, add 10 – 15% white spirit. Sand lightly between coats. Allow 4 – 6 hours drying time between each coat. Minimum of 2 coats are required but 3 coats are recommended for best results. Light walking traffic is permissible after 12 hours. Drying time may vary, depending on the humidity of the air.
For brush or roller application: use direct or thin with 10% white spirit. For conventional air spray: thin with 10 – 15% white spirit.
Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with turpentine oil immediately after use.
