G-MAN traces its current saw-making business to Edsbyn in Sweden, a region connected to forestry craft and tool making. The company was founded as Edsbytool AB in 1984, became G-MAN Tool AB in 1987, and continues to build saws and saw blades with Swedish raw material and modern manufacturing techniques.
