The people and structure behind our business
Y K Toh Marketing (S) Pte Ltd distributes warehouse equipment and builder’s hardware. Founded in 1984, we have a team of 48 staff in Singapore.
As HR Manager, you will review how teams are organised, define roles and reporting lines, and manage organisational transitions. Alongside this work, you will recruit and develop new teams and oversee the everyday HR operations that support employees and managers.
Key responsibilities
Organisational restructuring
- Review the organisationAudit existing team structures, workflows and role capabilities to identify operational gaps or redundancies.
- Define roles and capabilitiesDesign job descriptions, competency frameworks and reporting lines aligned with company strategy.
- Manage organisational transitionsManage transition processes, change-management communication, and redundancy or severance programmes.
Talent & development
Build and scale new teams
- Recruit the right peopleDevelop talent acquisition strategies to source, interview and hire capable professionals for newly created units.
- Help new hires get startedEstablish onboarding roadmaps, orientation schedules and initial training programmes so new hires can contribute quickly.
- Set clear expectationsDefine performance metrics, KPIs and role expectations that connect each team member’s work with broader company goals.
Core HR
Keep HR operations running well
- Support employees and managersOversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution.
- Align compensation and benefitsManage compensation and benefits alignment, supporting competitive total rewards packages during the transition.
- Maintain complianceMaintain compliance with local employment laws, labour regulations and internal company policies.
